Today we woke and had a wonderful breakfast with lots of fresh fruit!  After this we went out on the pangas for a coastal viewing of some of the many animals and lava rock formations in the Galapagos.  We started at Punta Moreno.  It wasn’t long before we saw much wildlife including pelicans, many tortoises, golden rays, spotted eagle rays, seal lions, penguins, Galapagos mockingbirds, flightless comorrants and the BLUE FOOTED BOOBIES!

This was so amazing!!  We were all like like little kids saying “look, lookey over here, over there”, etc.

But that’s not all, we also went snorkeling and saw so much underwater beauty.

There’s more…we went out a second time to do a coastal viewing of the wildlife via the pangas.

We went through the red mangroves where we saw many more turtles, various birds, sea lions, Sally Lightfoot crabs (called this because they look like they are dancing when they move) and penguins in the nooks or little caves in the rocks.  It was amazing.

After another wonderful dinner, we were advised to get to bed early as it’s going to be another early and busy day.  Tomorrow we have 2 hikes and 2 snorkel trips!!!
