A Birthday in Bonaire

Hello friends! It's been a while since I've posted anything here and you can imagine my surprise when I found two posts from our time in Bonaire that I hadn't yet published. Guess I was having too much fun in the Bonairian sun! :)

As our adventure was nearing the end, we were thrilled to receive a visit from Nikki! The timing worked out so that she was able to spend her birthday in Bonaire. What an awesome place to celebrate! We surprised her with a sunset dinner cruise aboard a sailboat to celebrate her 3 decades. Mother Nature foiled our first attempt with the potential for heavy rain and wind but the second attempt the next day was a spectacular success! We had a lovely evening and magnificent dinner with multiple courses of delicious food. The crew of the Melisa Sailing vessel were amazing and skillful in their food prep, service and sailing!

I'll let the pictures of Nikki's birthday week tell the story in this post...but I have to mention that she and David saw a couple seahorses while diving! I'm still hoping to find one!
